Analog, a web3 data provider and Layer-0 cross-chain communication protocol, is launching its highly anticipated incentive testnet today. This platform aims to assist developers in creating decentralized applications (dApps) by providing a wide range of tools and ensuring true interoperability across different blockchain networks.
One of the main offerings from Analog is the Analog Watch, which simplifies access to Web3 data through a GraphQL endpoint. Developers can choose to use the hosted Watch Portal or the open-source Watch SDK to enhance their productivity.
Analog GMP (General Message Passing) is another feature that offers a permissionless communication layer, allowing DApps to send and receive messages across multiple blockchains.
To ensure security, decentralization, and scalability, Analog combines the Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) and Proof-of-Time (PoT) protocols in its Timechain, an immutable ledger that serves as the foundation of the Analog network.
Developers, enthusiasts, and node operators now have the opportunity to earn rewards and actively contribute to the platform’s development through the recently launched incentivized testnet. Analog has set aside a minimum of 2% of its entire supply of $ANLOG tokens for all testnet participants.
The Analog Incentivized Testnet is being rolled out in phases to provide a seamless experience. While the broader community joined at the end of April, developers started participating on April 16. Phase 3 will soon be available to validators, and all three stages will operate simultaneously until the end of July.
The testnet offers various opportunities for participants. In Phase 1, developers are invited to build and deploy Views* and list smart contracts. Phase 3 allows validators to operate testnet nodes to secure the network and receive rewards based on uptime and active engagement. Phase 2 gives the general public and web3 enthusiasts the chance to complete social quests and provide valuable feedback.
By completing tasks such as testing essential features, offering opinions and insights, and participating in the Watch Game, where users examine and vote on Views* created by developers, participants can earn Analog Token Points (ATPs). These ATPs represent contributions to the identification of the most creative and practical Views within the ecosystem. The Watch Game is a fun and engaging activity that fosters connections among different contributors in Analog’s community, emphasizing discovery and participation. Participants can redeem their ATPs for a portion of the $ANLOG token airdrop, providing an immediate reward for their contributions to Analog’s expansion. Additionally, Analog plans to release more incentivized applications during the incentivized testnet.
Victor Young, CEO and Founder of Analog, expressed his excitement about this new development, emphasizing the platform’s commitment to empowering developers and fostering a vibrant community.
