Synternet, a provider of blockchain data infrastructure, has recently integrated Peaq’s network into its flagship Data Layer. This integration aims to enhance the functionality of peaq’s Layer-1 blockchain, which is designed to support DePIN and Machine RWAs. By incorporating peaq’s on-chain data into its decentralized network, Synternet enables developers to access real-time data streams, including transactions and dataflows from real-world dApps. This integration empowers developers to leverage events-based architecture in the Economy of Things on peaq, enabling them to create dashboards, machine learning applications, and advanced analytical tools.
Event-driven applications respond to predefined actions triggered by specific events, such as a mouse click, program initiation, or a variable reaching a specific value. In the Economy of Things on peaq, this architecture, coupled with its decentralized physical infrastructure networks, opens up a wide range of potential use cases. For instance, developers can create a navigation dApp that dynamically reroutes vehicles in response to traffic congestion, a power grid management app that optimizes resource allocation during peak hours, or an environment monitoring app that detects negative trends by aggregating data from multiple DePINs.
Through the integration with Peaq, Synternet offers developers a stream of configurable on-chain data that can be used for analytics, data visualization, and creating flexible, event-driven dApps. To facilitate this, peaq is added as a Publisher on Synternet’s Data Layer, a distributed network of nodes that provides Subscribers with data streams. Subscribers can customize the data flows from peaq to suit their specific needs, such as monitoring transactions or examining information from particular DePINs. This enables developers to build dApps that respond to specific network events.
Jonas Simanavicius, CTO at Synternet, expressed his enthusiasm about the integration, stating:
“We are thrilled to integrate Peaq’s network into our Data Layer. This collaboration will provide developers with a rich source of on-chain data, empowering them to create innovative applications in the Economy of Things on peaq.”
Till Wendler, co-founder of peaq, also commented on the partnership:
“Our integration with Synternet opens up exciting possibilities for developers. By combining peaq’s on-chain data with Synternet’s infrastructure, developers can unlock the full potential of the Economy of Things and create impactful dApps.”
