Casio has formed strategic partnerships with creators to design the NFT collection, with each artwork featuring an iconic Casio watch model. In collaboration with Astar’s zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM), Casio, the renowned watchmaker, has released this collection to commemorate its 50th anniversary. The partnership was announced by Astar Network on X. The collaboration between Casio and Astar zkEVM, a powerful alliance between Astar and Polygon, aims to enhance scalability. Yoki Origins, a gamified user onboarding experience, has been incorporated into the latest partnership between Casio and the Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solution, powered by Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK). Among the creations by Casio, the Yoki Origins will feature the Casio YoPort capsule machine. Interested individuals can choose between two versions of the YoPort, with the former offering one NFT and the latter offering eight NFTs. The artwork for this item will be revealed on May 10. Casio has partnered with creators to design the digital collectibles for this NFT series, which includes eight pieces of artwork featuring iconic Casio watch models. The Casio watch NFT sales offer various prizes, including an original G-Shock and Astar valued at 10,000 yen (approximately $64), with the Astar zkEVM logo displayed on the watch.
