Binance Charity, the philanthropic branch of the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem, has partnered with the Children of Heroes Foundation to provide assistance and psychological rehabilitation to children affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Together, their aim is to organize a 12-day rehabilitative camp called “I am Da Vinci” for 50 children who tragically lost their parents in the Ukrainian war.
The primary objective of this program is to create a safe and nurturing environment where these children can heal from their traumatic experiences. The camp will offer a unique range of services and activities with a strong focus on mental well-being, outdoor adventures, community building, and emotional healing.
Kyrylo Khomiakov, Binance’s Regional Head for CEE & Central Asia, expressed their commitment to this cause, stating:
“We are proud to collaborate with the Children of Heroes Foundation to provide support and care for these children who have suffered unimaginable losses. Through this camp, we hope to offer them a chance to heal and rebuild their lives.”
Tetiana Novytska, CEO of the Children of Heroes Foundation, also shared her thoughts on the initiative, saying:
“Our goal is to create a transformative experience for these grieving children. By combining creative activities, competitions, and responsibilities, we aim to foster their intellectual growth and self-expression. Moreover, we will provide essential psychological support throughout the camp to help them process their emotions, understand their losses, and cope with the aftermath of their traumatic experiences.”
By creating a supportive environment, the program seeks to alleviate feelings of isolation and loneliness, while also facilitating meaningful connections among peers who share similar circumstances.
This summer camp program has been made possible through generous donations to Binance Charity. An investment of 50,000 USDT or 2,000,000 UAH has been dedicated to support this camp, which is vital for the successful implementation of the program.
