On Monday, BingX announced an expansion of its existing partnership with Chelsea Football Club. The two entities stated they are jointly pursuing goals of “excellence and innovation.”
In the realm of cryptocurrency, BingX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, revealed it would extend its current collaboration to become the “official training kit partner” for Chelsea Football Club’s men’s team. Initially, the platform had sponsored the sleeve badge on the training kit.
Furthermore, BingX aims to draw attention to cryptocurrency by planning to “airdrop” training gear during promotional events, mimicking the launch of new crypto tokens. The company has specially designed drones for this purpose. The football club’s announcement also indicates the partnership will commence from the 2024/25 Premier League season and continue for the next two seasons.
Chelsea Football Club’s Chief Revenue Officer noted that BingX’s announcement includes benefits such as free matchday tickets and co-branded merchandise for platform users and football fans alike. Additionally, the Chief Product Officer of the platform expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating both organizations are committed to “relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation.”
Is cryptocurrency forging a unique path toward the mainstream?
In the first half of 2024, the community witnessed several partnerships among leading cryptocurrency companies. Leading cryptocurrency exchange OKX partnered with non-custodial staking service provider P2P.org. Additionally, prominent crypto payment platform MoonPay announced a partnership with PayPal in June 2024.
Notably, in the past 24 hours, another cryptocurrency exchange Gemini signed a five-year contract with Real Bedford Football Club (RBFC). These significant moves in the cryptocurrency community underscore their efforts to make cryptocurrencies inclusive in the global mainstream economy.
Moreover, with these partnerships and recent crypto-political struggles, interest in the industry has amplified globally.
