Oasys teams up with Vortex Gaming to fortify presence in Korean market

Oasys, a prominent blockchain gaming platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Vortex Gaming, a leading South Korean gaming community platform. This collaboration aims to strengthen Oasys’ presence in the Korean market while granting Vortex Gaming’s players access to Oasys’ latest game offerings.

Facilitated through Inven, a dominant player in Korea’s gaming webzine industry with an impressive 80% market share, Oasys will leverage this partnership with Vortex Gaming to engage more effectively with South Korean gamers. This initiative aims to deliver cutting-edge blockchain gaming experiences to the local player base.

The alliance is expected to drive user growth and promote the adoption of blockchain technology within Korea’s dynamic gaming industry. This initiative will expand the availability of renowned desktop and mobile games utilizing blockchain technology to enhance gameplay, thereby broadening Vortex Gaming’s portfolio of supported blockchain games.

Vortex Gaming, operating as a web3 subsidiary under Inven, is a content-focused gaming community renowned for its social media platform and guild features across various games. It is actively developing a web3 game-optimized solution through strong partnerships with leading firms in the web3 space like NEAR Protocol, MARBLEX, METABORA SINGAPORE, IoTrust, and Kroma.

Oasys, already a leading player in the regional gaming blockchain sector, has seen success in the Korean market and anticipates further growth through its collaboration with Vortex Gaming. This partnership follows the launch of XPLA Verse, an L2 platform on Oasys developed in conjunction with South Korea’s Com2uS Group. Oasys aims to attract more web3 users into its ecosystem, facilitating their exploration of the unique aspects of blockchain gaming that have drawn gamers from across East Asia.

In a separate initiative, Ubisoft’s “Champions Tactics” will launch a campaign targeting INVEN’s audience to promote the use of Vortex Gaming’s services. Participants can earn a Champions Tactics NFT by completing various tasks between June 26 and July 7. A draw will select 50 winners who meet the requirements.
