EasyA, the leading Web3 education app, has recently announced that its community of developers has surpassed one million. In order to capitalize on this achievement, the platform plans to launch its Polkadot education campaign.
EasyA has become a crucial starting point for developers in the industry, providing them with the necessary knowledge and tools to build decentralized apps (dApps) and foster vibrant Web3 communities.
Phil Kwok, CEO and co-founder of EasyA, emphasized that the platform’s influence extends beyond education. Winners of EasyA’s hackathons have received backing from prestigious venture capital firms such as Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Founders Fund, and Y Combinator, and are now valued at over $2.5 billion. Notable success stories include MintStars, a low-censorship content platform that allows artists and fans to earn money through resales, Axal, an intent coordination network that enables autonomous Web3 systems, and Cognition, an applied AI lab developing end-to-end software agents.
With the aim of educating more than 40,000 developers on how to create dApps on Polkadot and its parachains, EasyA is launching the #180DaysofPolkadot campaign to leverage this momentum. Developers will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with coding, deploying smart contracts, and contributing to open-source projects on GitHub by completing intermediate to advanced in-app tasks.
The campaign will culminate in two major hackathons focused on Polkadot, which will take place in London (July 20-21) and Harvard (July 27-28). These hackathons will see the launch of approximately 100 projects, and 500 of the top developers will be invited to participate in in-app challenges.
Considered one of the most extensive developer education initiatives in blockchain history, #180DaysofPolkadot has attracted tens of thousands of developers who have completed crash courses and built dApps to address pressing industry challenges at EasyA’s previous hackathons.
