Tenev emphasized the distinction between this new initiative and Robinhood. The CEO of Robinhood discussed the potential of LLMs to imitate human languages. The unveiling of Harmonic, the latest artificial intelligence protocol, was announced by Vlad Tenev, CEO and co-founder of Robinhood, on Monday. This new protocol is part of a commercial artificial intelligence research group focused on Mathematical Superintelligence (MSI), as explained by Tenev. By utilizing artificial intelligence and mathematical reasoning, this model was created to think more complexly than humans.
In his statement, Tenev addressed the concerns surrounding LLMs potentially generating false results or hallucinations. He highlighted how mathematics was previously developed to address the same issue. According to Tenev, experts believed that large language models could solve the problem of “hallucinations” and mathematical reasoning, leading to the creation of Harmonic. Contrary to this belief, Tenev’s X post revealed his disagreement and the development of an AI model that integrates mathematics as a fundamental component. Tenev expressed confidence that Harmonic would not produce hallucinations in its outputs and emphasized its potential to benefit mankind. Despite this, he clarified that the initiative is separate from Robinhood.
